James Floyd Brice Hawks

Services for Mr. Hawks will be 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Pastors David Smith and Rick Roberts officiating. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Hawks, 71, of Mt. Juliet, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009. He was a member of Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge and the American Legion.

He was preceded in death by parents, Dana Jesse and Joseph Thomas Hawks Sr. and brother, Claude Hawks.

Survivors include: wife, Willie D. Hawks; sons, Hank Rogers and Bryce Hawks; daughters, Tisa Chapman, Teri Rogers Gray and Renee Hawks; brother, Joseph Hawks; sisters, Regina Dalton, Kay Davis and Fay Gilder; and grandchildren, Jessica Drake, Calif and Landon Chapman, Jordon and Jackson Rogers, Sarah Hawks, and Luke and Taylor Gray.

The family requests no flowers please. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Betty Adams, 14270 Lebanon Road, Mt. Juliet, 37122.

Bond Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Edward "Ed" Henley

Services for Mr. Henley will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon with the Rev. Larry Pedigo officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 21, from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time.

Mr. Henley, 86, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, at University Medical Center. He was a member of the Leeville United Methodist Church and a veteran in the U.S. Navy.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Henley; parents, Obie "Dutch" and Velma Neal Henley; sister, Ruth Summers and brothers, Vernie B. and Robbie Henley.

Survivors include: sons, J.D. (Betty) Henley and Reed (Kathy) Henley, both of Lebanon; grandchildren, Dana Lynn (Steve) Chapman, Charles Reed (Stephanie) Henley, Bruce Henley, Kyle Harper, James and Kenneth Stewart and Shon and Jason Wampler; great-grandchildren, Chance, Ben and A.J. Pettit, Tucker Chapman, Eden Henley and Major Henley; brother, DeeDell Henley and sister, Marietta (Bill) White.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Henley, Kyle Harper, Chuck Henley, Harry Henley, Shon Wampler, Jason Wampler, Ben and A.J. Pettit and Steve Chapman.

Pauline Mayberry McDaniel

Services for Ms. McDaniel will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. David Shannon officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. McDaniel, 94, of Mt. Juliet, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009. She was a member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ and the Mt. Juliet Senior Citizens Center. She retired as a supervisor at Clover Bottom with the State of Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by husband, Kelly Beecher McDaniel; son, Kelly B. McDaniel; daughter, Louise McDaniel; brother, Donald Mayberry; and great-great-granddaughter, Hailey Jade Comer.

Survivors include: daughters, Vivian McDaniel Comer, Patricia Kyle (Thomas) Vance and Judy Caroline Richardson; son, Robert Ray (Annette) McDaniel; grandchildren, Mike and David Comer, Tammy Rather, Denise Massey, Brian and Jeffrey Vance, Renee Willette, Jason McDaniel, Kellie Forgery, and Keri Richardson; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Mike, David, Brian, Jeffrey, Jason, Martin, Scott, and Eddy.

Alexandra Murillo

Services for Miss Murillo will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20 at Sacred Hearts Hispanic Ministry. Interment will be in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 21.

Miss Murillo, 5, of Mt. Juliet, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009.

Survivors include: parents, Jose and Martha Murillo; brother, Eduardo; sisters, Brenda and Everly.

Pallbearers will be Lorena Meza, Ramiro Murillo, Xadira Garcia, Ismael Navor, Jose Murillo, and Manuel Murillo.

Bety Jo Starnes

Services for Mrs. Starnes were held Monday, Jan. 19 at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Shelby officiating. Interment was in Gordonsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Starnes, 61, of South Carthage, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2009 at Riverview Regional Medical Center. She attended Gordonsville Schools and worked at Welsh Manufacturing Company in Gordonsville. She was a member of Rome Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by parents, Dollie Bennett and Oscar Clayton Grisham; siblings, Frances Bennett, Ethel Barnes, Ruby Silcox and Crockett and Billy Oscar Grisham.

Survivors include: husband, Joe Don Starnes of South Carthage; daughters, Jodi (Anthony) Anderson and Dorothy (Reggie) Searcy, both of Riddleton, Tenn.; son, Walter Weatherford of Brush Creek; grandchildren, Ethan Filipovic, Timothy Wilson and Amy Pruett; great-grandchildren, Kyra Garrett and Jamall and Jamarion Wilson; brother, George (Gladys) Grisham of Lebanon; and sister, Clara (Ken) McCarter of Hartsville.

Stuart Tenney

Memorial services for Mr. Tenney will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21 at Una Church of Christ.

Mr. Tenney, 42, of Antioch, passed away Friday, Jan. 16, 2009.
He was preceded in death by father, Stuart Lowe Tenney Sr.

Survivors include: mother, Linda Tenney; sister, Dayna Stark; grandfather, Robert Frazer; nieces, Sara and Lisa Stark; uncle, Louie Frazer; cousin, Brian Frazer; and numerous friends.
