Cecil Hardy Johnson
Services for Mr. John will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Hunn and Bro. Barry Ellis officiciating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, July 14, from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday, July 15, from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
Mr. John, 65, died Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas. He was an Air Force veteran and member of the Baptist faith. He was a retired employee with TRW Ross Gear as an engineering lab technician.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Hardy Sr. and Clara Belle Murphy Johnson.
Survivors include: wife, Judith Gayle Johnson; son, Jamey (Rachel) Johnson; sisters, Joy Rachor of Cookeville and Jana Johnson of Nashville.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Griffith, Frank Coley, Terry Ellison, Danny Nichols, Michael Nichols, Mike Herrell, Duane Dursma, Randall Clemons, Eddie Nichols and Randy Marshall.

James Robert Eakes, Sr.
Services for Mr. Eakes will be 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, at Bond Memorial Chapel with David Teel officiating. Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. on Saturday before service time.
Mr. Eakes, 69, died July 9, 2008. Mr. Eakes was a lineman and worked out of the IBEW in Nashville for 33 years. He enjoyed fishing and restoring old trucks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorris Eakes and Lura Agnes Armes Eakes; sister, Jeannette Lenning and brother, Bobby Eakes.
Survivors include: wife, Alice Eakes of Chiefland, Fla.; children, Darlene (Chuck) Sedgwick of Old Hickory, James (Joni) Eakes, Jr. of Lebanon, Ricky (Donna) Eakes of Charlotte; step-children, Alex Grogorov and Jeffrey Norman; brother, Billy Eakes; grandchildren, Rachel Sedgwick, Matthew Sedgwick, Robert Wayne Eakes, Josh Eakes, Dustin Eakes, Doltin Eakes and Jacob Eakes; great-grandchild, Brandon Eakes.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Joann H. Clark
Services for Mrs. Clark will be 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Pastor Terry Mitchell officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and 4-6 p.m on Tuesday before services.
Mrs. Clark, 75, of Mt. Juliet died July 13, 2008. She attended Fellowship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Christine Neely Horner and her husband, Charles Clark.
Survivors include: sons, Ray (Nan) Clark, Joe (Ann) Clark of Lebanon; brothers, Eldon Horner and Derrell Horner; grandchildren, Stacy Clark, Jai-J Swope, Drew Clark, Tiffany Barrett and Chris Barrett and numerous great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dart Horner, Chad Horner, Drew Clark, Chris Barrett, Burt Williams and Bobby Syler.
