George Henry Abston

Services for Mr. Abston will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 19 at Hellum Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Allen officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be noon until the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Abston, 61, of Lebanon, died Saturday, July 14, 2007 at University Medical Center.

Survivors include: wife, Debra Abston; sons, Montes (Kimberly) and Pierre (Christina) Abston; daughter, Sherry (Wayne) Clemmons; six grandchildren; brother, Alfred (Elizabeth) Abston; sisters, Mary (John) Stafford, Margaret (John) Bell, Estelle Oldham and Geneva Adams; and other relatives and friends.

James Edward Sircy

Services for Mr. Sircy will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 19 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Eld. Kenneth Summers officiating. Interment will be in Hillsdale Cemetery in Macon County. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Sircy, 65, of Lebanon, died Monday, July 16, 2007 at University Medical Center. He was the son of the late Lukic B. and Elizabeth Stubblefield Sircy. He worked for the City of Lebanon Wastewater Department for 13 years and owned Sircy Upholstery. He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by parents; brother, Edward Sircy; and sisters, Jalama Callahan, Madeline Summers, and Moline Sircy. Survivors include: wife, Pam Ferrell Sircy; children, Cathy (Steve) Alcorn of Gordonsville, James Daniel Sircy and Pamela Ann Sircy, both of Lebanon; sisters, Myrtle Lee Page of Lebanon and Naomi Watson of Gallatin; seven grandchildren and five great-granchildren.

Pallbearers will be Doug Whitefield, Casey Tubb, Gil Fox, and Kenny, Casey, Charlie and Dusty Summers.

Richard Thompson

Services for Mr. Thompson will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 20 at Stateville Smithfork Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Bailey officiating. Interment will be in Jennings Cemetery.Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Terrell Brady Funeral Home in Nashville and noon until the service Friday at the church.

Mr. Thompson, 62, of Nashville, died Saturday, July 14, 2007.

Survivors include: devoted companion, Liz Joyner; children, Kristie (Jacques) Meneese, Ericka Russell and Christopher Thompson; brothers, Ben (Lucile) Ollie Jr., Cidney (Diane) and John (Catherine) Thompson; sisters, Louise (John) Webb, Earline Oglesby, Dorothy Seay, Rose Perkins and Pearlie Lawrance; and other relatives and friends.

Hellum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
