Adrienne Evans Hollins Phillips
Services for Mrs. Phillips will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21 at First CHurch of the Nazarene in Nashville. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the service Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Phillips, 90, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 in Shawnee, Kan. She was a member fof First Church of the Nazarene and Professor Emeritus at Trevecca Nazarene University where she served on the faculty for 35 years teaching English and foreign languages.
She was preceded in death by parents, James Peter and Sara Alice Chaffin Hollins; and husband, Koy Wright Phillips. Survivors include: daughters, Sara Ellen (Louie) Bustle of Shawnee and Lyla Kathleen Phillips of Nashville; grandchildren, Beth Ann (Rick) Guilfol and John Phillip (Heather) Bustle; and great-grandchildren, Amber Nicole and Ashley Dawn Guilfoil.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Koy Wright and Adrienne Hollins Phillips Educational Project at the Nazarene Seminary in Chiclayo, Peru. Contributions can be sent to Nazarene Headquarters, 6401 The Paseo, Kansas City, Mo. 64131.
Bond Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Donald Wayne Trisdale
Services for Mr. Trisdale will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 19 at Anthony Funeral Home with Eld. Guthrie Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Bradley Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until the service Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Trisdale, 59, of Lebanon, died Monday, July 16, 2007 at Saint Thomas Hospital.
He was preceded in death by father, Andy Trisdale; and brother, Michael Trisdale. Survivors include: wife, Cynthia Trisdale; son, Cale Trisdale of Lebanon; daughters, Vena Evelyn Trisdale of Wilmington, Del. and Bridget (Jack) Scott of Hartsville; step-daughter, Janie (Todd) Chadwick; grandchildren, Bryson and Baylee Huffines and Ashton Scott; step-grandchildren, Laitlyn and Kyle Chadwick; mother, Katie Trisdale of Castalian Springs; and brothers, James (Penny) Trisdale of Castalian Springs and William (Kathy) Trisdale of Liberty Hill, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Jack Scott, Danny and Larry Williams, Terry Meadows, Stephen Young, Barry Moore and Todd Chadwick.
