Services for Mrs. Williams were Monday, July 23 at Goodwell Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Peterson and Rev. Doug King officiating. Interment was in Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.
Mrs. Williams, 97, former longtime Goodwell, Okla. resident, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the Methodist Care Center in Enid, Okla.
The daughter of Thomas Wilson and Maude (Mosier) Baskin, she was born September 20, 1909 in Lebanon. She was raised in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School. Pauline and Roy B. Williams were united in marriage on September 22, 1933 in Lebanon. They moved to Goodwell from Tennessee in 1949, where Roy ran the dairy at the Panhandle State University farm. Mr. Williams passed away on April 19, 1990. As well as being a homemaker, Pauline babysat and did sewing for many people. She moved from Goodwell to Vici, Oklahoma in 1997 and then to Enid in February 2007, where she resided at the Commons.
She was preceded in death by, husband, parents and two brothers. Survivors include two sons: Jerry (Eileen) Williams of Mt. Vernon, Wash. and Ralph (Eddie Kay) Williams of Enid; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and three sisters: Louise Jennings of Nashville, Ressie Bentley of Donelson and Mary Jordan of Lebanon.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Hospice Care of Enid. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 1112, Guymon, Okla. 73942.
