Ruth Keller Craig

Services for Mrs. Craig were Monday, June 4 at Poovey’s Grove Baptist Church in Granite Falls, N.C.

Mrs. Craig, 93, of Lenoir, N.C., formerly of Granite Falls, died Thursday, May 31, 2007.

Alvin Harrison Lackey

Services for Mr. Lackey will be 11 a.m. Wednsday, June 6, at Mt. Juliet Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Eubanks officiating. Interment will be in Leeville Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Lackey, 87, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday, June 3, 2007.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Bell Lackey.

Survivors include: nieces and nephews, Mike Goodwin, Tony Goodwin, David Goodwin, Tommy (Tracie) Goodwin, Michelle Goodwin, Theresa (Greg) Lasater, and Phillip Lea; great-nieces and great-nephews, Jody Goodwin, Daniel Eatherly, Hannah Goodwin, Hayley Goodwin, Caitlin Lasater, Lee Lasater, Blake Lee and Bailey Lasater.

Pallbearers will be Mike Goodwin, Tony Goodwin, Tommy Goodwin, Phillip Lee, Greg Lasater and Jody Goodwin.

Harold Van Stephens

Graveside services for Mr. Stephens were 4 p.m. Monday, June 4, at Hartsville Memorial Gardens with Bro. Stan Blades officiating.
Mr. Stephens, 84, of Hermitage, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Summitt Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Arie Stephens; brothers and sisters, Laurine Rogers, Maurice Stephens, Mary Stephens, Lloyd Stephens, Leola Huggins and Joe Stephens; and a grandson, Stephen Wright.

Survivors include: his wife of 58 years, Lois Stephens of Hermitage; a son, Ken (Nancy) Stephens of Lebanon; a daughter, Nan (Greg) Wright of Hartsville; a granddaughter, Cindy (Stan) Blades; two great-grandson, Bryan and Ethan Blades; and a brother, James Stephens of Belton, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideon Foundation.
