Lawrence Henry Bowman Sr.

Services for Mr. Bowman will be 3 p.m. Sunday, June 1 at Hellum Funeral Home with Bro. David Meek officiating. Interment will be in the Bowman Family Cemetery in Lebanon. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until the service Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Bowman, 83, of Lebanon, died Monday, May 26, 2008 at Skyline Medical Center.

Survivors include: wife, Rene Bowman of Chicago, Ill.; numerous children; and other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be grandsons. Granddaughters will be flower ladies.

Mose E. Carthane

Services for Mr. Carthane will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 31 at Hellum Funeral Home with Bishop A.J. Valentine officiating. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Carthane, 78, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at University Medical Center.

Survivors include: wife, Myra Carthane; children, Carolyn Carthane of Pontiac, Mich., Ricci (Bernice) Harrison of Houston, Texas, and Travenia (Larry) Holden of Lebanon; sister, Mary Alice Williams of Pontiac; brothers, Vezzie (Lisa) Carthane of Pontiac and John Carthane of Houston; grandchildren, Ricci Harrison II, Lee Ander and Ayanna Holden; and other relatives and friends.

Dorothy Leverette

Services for Mrs. Leverette will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with David Anguish officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Leverette, 73, of Smyrna, died Thursday, May 29, 2008. A native of the Walter Hill community, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Nannie Neely Sullivan. She was a homemaker and a member of Smyrna Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Edgar Carylos Leverette; sisters, Thelma Harrod and Virginia Eads; and brother, James Sullivan. Survivors include: daughters, Sheryl (Rickey) Irwin of Murfreesboro, and Carlynn (David) Anguish of Memphis; grandchildren, Jeremy and Nathan Anguish and Kyle, Tyler, and Kelci Irwin; sisters, Ruth Barret, Sara Pruitt, Mae Brewer, and Louise Oden; and brothers, Clayton and John L. Sullivan Jr.

Edgar Carylos Leverette

Services for Mr. Leverette will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with David Anguish officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Leverette, 79, of Smyrna, died Thursday, May 29, 2008. A native of Marshall County, he was the son of the late Cecil and Jessie Lunn Leverette. He was retired from the Telephone and Data system (TDS), and was a member of Smyrna Church of Christ.

He is preceded by sister, Betty Hoefling. Survivors include: his wife Dorothy of 52 years; daughters, Sheryl (Rickey) Irwin of Murfreesboro and Carlynn (David) Anguish of Memphis; grandchildren, Jeremy and Nathan Anguish and Kyle, Tyler, and Kelci Irwin; and brother, Benny L. Leverette.
