Thomas Jeffrey "Tommy" Adir

Graveside services for Mr. Adir will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Wilson County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Dave Humphrey officiating. Visitation will be Friday, April 20, from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and an hour prior to graveside at Partlow Funeral Home.

Mr. Adir, 65, of Dixon Springs, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at University Medical Center. He was a landman in Oil & Gas Exploration, a 1963 graduste of Texas A & M, a member of the Squadron 3 of the Corp of Cadets and an avid golfer.

He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Anna Adair; brother, Eddie Adair and aunt, Edna Miller.

Survivors include: wife, Debbie F. Adair; cousin, Jim Miller and family of Texas and devoted friends, Phil Gibson, Lenny Cruse, Jimmie Miller, Kenny Oliver and Nellie Bowers.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.

Edward Burton Barrett

Services for Mr. Barrett will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 20, at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Ward officating. Interment will be in Jones Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, from 4 p.m.-9 p.m. and Friday, April 20, prior to services.

Mr. Barrett, 82, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Murfreesboro. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by jis grandson, Mark Barrett; parents, Dave and Kate Comer Barrett and brothers, Elgin and Martin Barrett.
Survivors include: sons, Steve Barett, of Lebanon, and Mark Barrett, of Lebanon; brothers, James Barrett, of Murfreesboro, Claude (Geneva) Barrett, of Lebanon, Roy (Linda) Barrett, of Lebanon, Billy (Juanita) Barrett, of Brush Creek, and J.D. (Nell) Barrett, of Waverly; sisters, Lorene Brown, of Lebanon, Carolyn (James) Tarpley, of Lebanon, Ella (Jessie) Ward, of Lebanon, Daisy Perdue, of Gallatin, and Ethel Trisdale, of Anderson, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.

Active Pallbearers will be nephews.

Krystal Renee Carpenter

Services for Ms. Carpenter will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Hunter Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, April 21, from 1 p.m. until service.

Ms. Carpenter, 24, of Watertown, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and attended Vol State. She was Photo department Manager at Walgreens.

Survivors include: parents, Lanny and Peggy Carpenter of Watertown; brother, Lucas Bradly Carpenter of Watertown; grandmother, Sytha Clemmons of Watertown; aunts and uncles, Randle Carpenter, of Brush Creek, Glenda Carpenter, of Brush Creek, Willene Warren, of West Plains, Mo., Jerry Hanley, of West Plaines, Mo., Lavina Clair, of Aurora, Mo., and Shirley Cherry, of Mammoth Springs, Ark., and cousins, Sonja Douglas, Angela Evans, Shane and Melody Carpenter.

Frances Qualls Denney

Services for Mrs. Denney will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Partlow Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Walker officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, April 20, from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. until service.

Mrs. Denney, 81, died Thursday, April 19, 2007, at University Medical Center. She was a graduate from St. Thomas School of Nursing in Nashville in 1946.

He was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Denney; parents, the Rev. Raymond S. and Susan K. Poston Qualls and brothers, Allon Qualls and Ray Qualls.

Survivors include: children, Alma (Ron) Owens, Susan Peek, Roy (Suk) Denney and Julia (Keller) Chapman; grandchildren, Russell (Cassie) Owens, Amy (Dave) Harry, Rebecca (Will) Arnold, Scott Peek, Roy (Hope) Denney, KC (Cate) Chapman, Gene Denney and Nathan Chapman; great-grandchildren, Madison Harry and Davis Arnold; siblings, Barbara Bragg, Janice Frey, Mary Hutto, Laura McMinn, Pat Marlin and John Qualls.
Active Pallbearers will be her grandsons and grandsons-in-law, Russell Owens, Scott Peek, Roy Denney, KC Chapman, Gene Denney, Nathan Chapman, Will Arnold and Dave Harry.

Eva H. Edmondson

Services for Mrs. Edmondson will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Woodbine Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mapleview Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 20, from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at Woodbine Funeral Home.

Mrs. Edmondson, 76, of Nashville, died Thursday, April 19, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Edmondson; son, Watt Edmondson; parents, Rufus and Maude Harper and brother, James Harper.

Survivors include: daughter, Bobbie (Steve) Markham, Carol Edmondson; grandchildren, Darryl Edmondson, Jennifer and Lee Anne Markham; great-grandchild, Darryl Edmondson, Jr.; sisters, Hazel Gray and Gloria McDaniel and brother, Rufus Harper, Jr.

Kara Sue Erwin

Services for Mrs. Erwin will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, at Cedar Hill Funeral Home, Suitland, Md. Visitation will be Sunday, April 22, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Erwin, of Suitland, Md., died Monday, April 16, 2007.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles R. Miller and step-father, Clfton Kimball.

Survivors include: husband, Robert Erwin; son, Mark (Deborah) Erwin; grandchildren, Shirley and Tyrone Erwin; mother, Imogene Miller Kimball; siblings, Keith Miller (Ann), of Rockvale, Glene (Hunt (john), of Lebanon, and Crystal Taylor (Floyd), of Murfreesboro; three nieces; four nephews; four great-nieces; two great nehews and a host of family and friends.

Milton K. "Milt" Moody

Services for Mr. Moody will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 20, at Hermitage Funeral Home with Bro. David Royalty officiating. Entombment will be in Hermitage Mausoleum. Visitation will be Thursday, April 19, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 6 p.m.-8 p.m. and Friday, April 20, an hour prior to service.

Mr. Moody, 74, of Mt. Juliet, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Moody.

Survivors include: sons, Ronald (Donna) Moody and Kenneth (Cindy) Moody; daughter, Zana Petty; step-sons, Franklin Swaidner, Bruce Halnes; grandchildren, Jessica Petty, Shawn, Shelly, Spencer Moody and Donald Moody; step-grandchildren, Coristle Haggard, Sam Petty and Leigh Ann Vance; two brothers and one sister.

Thomas "Pops" Schunk

Services for Mr. Schunk will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Hermitage Funeral Home with Chaplin Jessie Green officiating. Entombment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. until service.

Mr. Schunk, 74, of Mt. Juliet, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007. He was the owner of Cedar Creek Sports Center and former V.P. of Service Merchandise & Best Products.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Florence Schunk; aunt and uncle, Norma and Frank Boettcher, mother and father in-law, Helen and Charles Kist.

Survivors include: wife of 52 years, Evelyn Kist Schunk; daughter, Donna (George) Ogilvie; sons, Robert Schunk, Danny (Wendy) Schunk and Jim (Patti) Schunk; grandchildren, Rachel and Adam Ogilvie, Blake, Curtis, Kendall, Carter, Jason and Carson Schunk; brothers, Donald (Shannon) Kist and Ken Kist; nephew, Todd (Jody) Kist and niece, Tonya Kist.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Alive Hospice, St. Jude and Wilson County Animal Shelter.

Virginia Forbes Walsh

Services for Mrs. Walsh will be Friday, April 20, in Freeport, Bahamas.
Mrs. Walsh, of Freeport, Bahamas, died Sunday, April 15, 2007. She attended Watertown and Mt. Juliet Schools.

Survivors include: children, Vicky Lena Martell, of Freeport, and Sandra June Lena Kaiser, Fairview, Texas; granddaughter, Aliza Kaiser; brother, Sam (Edna) Forbes, Shop Springs; nieces and nephews and cousin, Betty Ann Tucker Griffin of Lebanon.

Stephen Eston Wells

Graveside services for Mr. Wells will be 3 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Bro. Glenn Denton officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, April 21, from noon until service at Partlow Funeral Home.

Mr. Wells, 23, of Lebanon, died Thursday, April 19, 2007, from an automobile accident. He was employed with the Nutro Dog Food Co.
Survivors include: mother, Vicki (Wilbur) Rimes and son, Cameron Eston Wells.

Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
