Thomas Jeffrey "Tommy" Adair
Graveside services for Mr. Adair will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Wilson County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Dave Humphrey officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to graveside at Partlow Funeral Home.
Mr. Adair, 65, of Dixon Springs, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at University Medical Center. He was a landman in Oil & Gas Exploration, a 1963 graduate of Texas A & M, a member of the Squadron 3 of the Corp of Cadets and an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Anna Adair; brother, Eddie Adair and aunt, Edna Miller.
Survivors include: wife, Debbie F. Adair; cousin, Jim Miller and family of Texas and devoted friends, Phil Gibson, Lenny Cruse, Jimmie Miller, Kenny Oliver and Nellie Bowers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
Louise Garrett Alsup
Graveside services for Mrs. Alsup will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22 in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Partlow Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Alsup, 88, of Lebanon, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at Mitchell Manor. She was a bookkeeper for Margie Anna Nursing Home and a member of Rocky Valley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, Walter and Evie Garrett; husband, Walter "Dude" Alsup; and brothers, William Clayton and James Ewing Garrett. Survivors include: sisters, Earline Garrett Jones of Murfreesboro and Katherine Todd of Lebanon; sister-in-law, Nelda Garrett of Lebanon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Jose Gabriel Garay
Services for Mr. Garay will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 23 at Partlow Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Richard Weller officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Garay, 71, of Lebanon, died Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Baptist Hospital. He was the owner of J & J Pest Control and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by parents, Jose and Carmen Ortiz Garay; brother, Vincent Garay; and sisters, Mary Hoffknecht and Louisa Hughes. Survivors include: wife, Barbara Sue Garay; son, Brian G, Garay; daughters, LaDonna (Meacham) Evins and Valerie (Duane) Perry; step-children, Robert C. Buttrey and Vickie Pearsall; grandchildren, Brian and Donna Marie Evins and Mason McDonald.
Pallbearers will be Roy Holloway, Robert Buttrey, Ronnie Savage, Van Rodgers, Art Hughes, Billy Sans, John Fey and Leonard Fagan.
Charles David Kemp
Memorial services for Mr. Kemp will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22 at Sellars Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon until the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Kemp, 27, of Lebanon, died Thursday, April 19, 2007.
Survivors include: father, Paul Kemp Jr. of Portland; Sherry Allmon of Florida; children, Logan, Auron and Kylie Kemp; brother, James Kemp of Lebanon; and grandparents, Paul and Ruth Kemp of Lebanon and Chuck Allmon of Florida.
William E. Searle
Services for Mr. Searle will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24 at Bond Memorial Chapel Interment with military honors will be at 1 p.m. in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Searle, 86, of Mt. Juliet, died Friday, April 20, 2007. He was a World War II veteran.
He was preceded in death by parents, William H. and Margaret Robinson Searle; wife, Bernie Searle; sons, James T. and Jack E. Searle; brothers, Jack, Robert, and Thomas Searle; sister, Rose Fern; grandson, Jeremy Long and great-grandson, Little Eddie. Survivors include: sons, W. Ralph (Nancy) and William B. (Jeanette) Searle; daughters, Kitty Schneider, Janice (Paul) Knotts and Jean Searle (Don) Sorey; sister, Mae Hartnett; over 50 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one unborn great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Bill, John, James, Will and Adam Searle, Corey Willett, Landis Sanders and Tommy Hoague. Honorary pallbearers will be surviving World War II veterans.
Jessie S. Simms
Services for Mrs. Simms will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bros. Ken Thomas and Chuck Groover officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday and noon until the service Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Simms, 86, of Mt. Juliet, died Friday, April 20, 2007. She was a member of Greenhill Church of Christ and a teller at the Bank of Mt. Juliet for several years.
She was preceded in death by parents, John Dee Sr. and Nancy Hill Summers; brother, John Summers Jr.; and sister Lelia Elkins. Survivors include: husband, John Albert Simms Sr.; sons, Bobby (Karen) and John (Myra) Simms, both of Mt. Juliet and Charles (Lori) Simms of Donelson; brother, George Lee (Gladys) Summers of Lebanon; sister, Ann (Paul) Cunningham of West Palm Beach, Fla.; grandchildren; Kerry (Chad) Swallows, Lisa, Jack, Drew and Carlie Simms and Nicole Gore; and great-grandchild, Ellie Swallows.
Pallbearers will be Bobby, John, Charles, Jack and Drew Simms and Chad Swallows.
