Evelyn Frances Curtis
Services for Mrs. Curtis will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 9, at New Hope Baptist Church with Bro Ronnie Smith and Bro. Tommy Curtis officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday.
Mrs. Curtis, 84, of Alexandria, died Friday, April 6, 2007, at Summit Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Willie Malone Kitchings; her husband of 66 years, Paul Curtis; and a brother, Charles B. Kitchings.
Survivors include: two daughters, Faye (William) Wooldridge of Lebanon and Key Hearn of Mt. Juliet; five grandchildren, Rick (Christy) Robinson of Murfreesboro, Mitch Robinson of Lebanon, Angie (Alan) Elkins of Mt. Juliet, Anita (Chip) Jackson of Mt. Juliet and Kim (Scott) Lattimore of Mt. Juliet; six great-greanchildren; a niece, Lyna Rorie; brother-in-law the Rev. Tommy (Virginia) Curtis of Smithville; and two step-grandchildren, Chip (Carol) and Trevor Hearn, both of Mt. Juliet.
Pallbearers will be Rick Robinson, Mitch Robinson, Chip Jackson, Alan Elkins, Scott Lattimore and Todd Austin.
Oleta Kelley Seaborn
Services for Mrs. Seaborn will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 at Mt. Juliet Funeral Home with Bro. John Brown officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m. until the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Seaborn, 80, of Mt. Juliet, died Friday, April 6, 2007. She was a member of Hermitage Church of Christ and an All Star basketball player at Donelson High School.
She was preceded in death by parents, Dave and Inez Vinson Kelley; husband, Alvin Hardeman Seaborn; and son, Gary Wayne Seaborn. Survivors include: daughters, Sndra (Sterling) Earhart and Darlene Montgomery; sons, Hardy (Debbie) and Mike Seaborn; brother, Randolph (Rose) Kelley; grandchildren, Jody (Lisa) and Jason (Annie) Earhart, Adam (Heather) Seaborn, Andrea (Justin) Fox, Kristy Faler, Corey Seaborn, Daniel and Kelley Montgomery and Kayla Seaborn; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and family. Honorary pallbearers will be the nursing staff of Summit Hospital, sixth floor, and Mt. Juliet Health Care Staff.
Mary Lee Winfree Tabor
Services for Mrs. Tabor will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 in the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Home. Interment will be in Cookeville City Cemetery. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to and 30 minutes after the service.
Mrs. Tabor, 84, of Columbus, Ga., died Saturday, April 7, 2007. She was a member of Schomburg Road Baptist Church in Columbus.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ova Webster and E. G. Winfree; husband, Charles D. Tabor; and siblings, Gordon and Ray Winfree and Irene Allison. Survivors include: two daughters, Kay (Terry) Spohn of Lynchburg, Vir. and Carol (Rev. Buddy) Lamb of Columbus; two sons, Rev. Charles "Chuck" (Susie) Tabor III of Hillsboro, Ohio and Terry (Patsy) Tabor of Oviedo, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Katie Eby of Gaithersburg, Md.; and five brothers, Robins Winfree of Carthage, Neal and Haskell Winfree of Watertown, and Paul and Donald Winfree of Lebanon.
