James Thomas Armes Sr.
Services for Mr. Armes will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 3 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment with military honors will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Middle Tennessee Veteran Cemetery in Pegram. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Armes, 57, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday, April 29, 2007. He attended Mt. Juliet Church of God, he was a Vietnam veteran serving in the Marine Corp. and coached Mt. Juliet Little League baseball and Junior League football teams.
He was preceded in death by parents, Jimmy and Frances Lee Armes. Survivors include: wife, Watanna Armes; sons, James T. Jr. and Mikey Armes, both of Mt. Juliet; daughters, Christy Armes (Mark) Dalton of Virginia and Misty Armes (Kevin) Crawford of Alaska; brother, Paul E. Armes of Nashville; sister, Joyce Richardson of Nashville; and grandchildren, Alexis "Weasel Head" Dalton, Mackenzie "Tad Pole" Crawford, and Isabella "June Bug" Crawford, expected to be born July 5, 2007.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Crawford, Mark Dalton, John Palmer, Johnny Sawyers, Billy Joe Denton and Tracy Clay.
Services for Mr. Cooksey will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 1 at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Cooksey, 49, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at University Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by father, Joe W. Cooksey and son, Michael Joe Gilley. Survivors include: mother, Reba Cooksey; brothers, Kenny and David Cooksey; nieces and nephews, Kelly and Kayla Chrisman, Kayla, Sonya, Crystal, Derrick and Daniel Cooksey; and aunt and uncle, Cecil and Vallie Horne, all of Lebanon.
Wilson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Services for Mrs. Harris will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Charles Walker and Mr. Wayne Foster officiating. Interment will be in Lannom Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until services Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
Mrs. Harris, 95, of Gladeville, died Monday, April 30, 2007, at the Lebanon Health and Rehab Center. She was a homemaker and a member of the Gladeville United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Lillian Barber; her husband, Carmack Harris; a son, Wendell Harris; a great-grandson, Izaiah Dalys Harris; a brother, Willie Clyde Barber; and a sister, Violet Partlow.
Survivors include: a daughter, Anita (Richard) Bell; a son, Randy Harris; four grandchildren, Rick Bell, Shannon Sullivan, Kellie Eakes, Ty (Jen) Harris and Ryan Harris; great-grandchildren, Jared and Jade Sullivan and Karleigh, Kelseigh and Lillian Anita; and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Raines will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 30 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Elds. Jimmy Cox, Billy Joe Shoulders, and Leon White officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the service Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Raines, 75, of Lebanon, died Friday, April 27, 2007 at University Medical Center. She worked at Lebanon Garment Company and retired from Lebanon High School where she worked in the cafeteria and as a custodian. She was a member of Old Paths Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, Wilbur and Bessie Mae Hallums Hall; two sisters, Alberta Lawrence and Eunice Hall; two brothers, Wilbur and Dan Hall; half-brother, Clyde Marks and two infant siblings. Survivors include: husband of 57 years, Eld. Chanie Raines; four children, Zander Dell (Carol Jo) Raines of Lebanon, Vanessa R. (David) Stuff of Ormond Beach, Fla., Timothy Wayne (Patricia) Raines of Castalian Springs, Jeffery Joe (Elizabeth Ann) Raines of Lebanon; brother, Robert Earl Hall of Lebanon; two half-brothers, Billy Marks of Lebanon and Howard Marks of Mobile, Ala.; 12 grandchildren, David Lee, Andy, and Rachael Michelle Raines, David Matthew, Tina Marie, Timothy Gray and Bobby Jo Stuff, Brandi Bell, Nancy Elliot, Scotty Pritchett, and Joshua Daniel and Johnathon Alexander Raines; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Drennon, Ed Hardy, Dolphus Smith, David Lee, Bobby and Andy Raines, D.J. Martin and Ricky Bell. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Hardie Sorrells, Dr. Robert Woods, Dr. Kathleen Kearny, Nina Reed, nurses in progressive care at UMC, Daniel, Johnathon and Rachael Raines, Tina Stuff, Brandi Bell and Nancy Elliot.
