Robert Walter King
Services for Mr. King will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Tramel and the Rev. Billy Hill officiating.
Interment will be in Neal Cemetery at Watertown. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. King, 80, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007. He was born in Trousdale County. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Ryder Freight with 39 years of service. He was a member of Shop Springs Baptist church where he served as a deacon for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Sportsman Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Mose and Ola Gilmore King; his first wife, Erlene Tomlinson King; two brothers, Lon and Dovard King; and four sisters, Lucille Lehew, Aline Williams, Virginia Johnson and Ethel Mazer.
Survivors include: his wife of more than 58 years, Sara Nelle Turner King; three children, Robert E. "Bob" (Susan) King, Charles W. King and Janet Brewington, all of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Blake (Heidi) King, Amber (Austin) Burton and Shelly (Scott) Satterfield, all of Lebanon, and Brandi King of Santa Monica, Calif.; seven great-granddaughters; a brother, Boyd King; and two sisters, Lina Mai Ligon and Edna Tomlinson, all of Lebanon.
Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Shop Springs Baptist Church, Gene Farley, Kenneth and Phillip Underwood and Jim Van Sickle. Active pallbearers will be Blake King, Scott Satterfield, Jimmy Johnson, Larry Tomlinson, Tommy and John Turner, Gwin and Jerry Wayne King and Randall Ligon.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson Disease Association or to the youth group at Shop Springs Baptist Church.
James Carson Musice
Services for Mr. Musice will be 6 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. until services Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Musice, 56, of Lebanon, died Monday, April 30, 2007.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Anna Redmon Musice and his brother, John Musice.
Survivors include: his children, James J. (Teresa) Musice, Robert T. Musice, Melody Musice and Jonathan Musice; and grandchildren, Austin and Kyle Musice.
