Edward T. Flynn, Sr.
Services for Mr. Flynn will be Tuesday, May 22, at Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt. Juliet with Jerry Shrum officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Flynn, 69, of Nashville died Friday, May 18, 2007. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in North Africa and Europe. He was a retired police officer and received the Medal of Valor during his police career. He was also retired from the State of Tennessee as the Director of Safety and Security at Clover Bottom Developmental Center. Mr. Flynn served on the Board of Trustees for Wright University.
He was the son of the late James and Bridget Galvin Flynn. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Stella Ferguson Flynn, and his son, Eddie Flynn Jr.
Mr. Flynn is survived by his son Michael Flynn.
Pallbearers will be friends.
Clara Jane McKinney
Services for Miss McKinney will be Wednesday, May 23, at 2 p.m. at Florence, Ky., Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, Ky. Visitation will be at Stith Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 23, from noon to 2 p.m.
Miss McKinney, 2, of Winchester, Ky., died at J.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.
She is survived by her father and mother, Josh and Lindsay (Wilburn) McKinney of Winchester, Ky.; her brother, Brandon McKinney, and a sister, Lara Beth McKinney, both of Winchester; grandparents, Tom and Betty McKinney of Erlanger, Ky.; David and Linda Steinfort of Florence, Ky.; David Wilburn of LaVergne, Tenn.; Beth Sloan Wilburn of Florence, Ky.; great-grandmother, Mary Wilburn of Gallatin, Tenn.; an uncle, Dustin McKinney of Florence, Ky.; an aunt Sloan Wilburn of Winchester, Ky.; and a cousin, Andrew Ping of Winchester, Ky.
