Barbara Dye Lawrence
Services for Mrs. Lawrence will be today (Monday, Oct. 15) at 1 p.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Daryl Blankenship and Frank Mayo officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. until the service.
Mrs. Lawrence, 75, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007. She served as a Sunday School teacher for 58 years through the Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Vera Lawrence; brothers, Frank and John Lawrence, and a sister, Evelyn Hibler.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Jack T. Dye; sons, Kevin (Tammie) Dye and Wade (Terry) Dye; grandchildren, Brittnea Dye, Bethany (Joe) Kachelman, Brad Dye; a sister, Patricia Sholey; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Altie Mae McNeil
Services for Mrs. McNeil will be held at the Bellwood House of Prayer on Thursday, Oct. 18, at 2:30 p.m. The McNeil family will receive friends at the church prior to the 2:30 p.m. service.
Mrs. McNeil, 84, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, at University Medical Center. She was born Oct. 18, 1922, in Nashville, Tenn., the daughter of the late Lena Blanche Blair and Harvey Alton Harp. Mrs. McNeil was a nanny in child care for several years and was a member of the Bellwood House of Prayer.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Nellie Aldridge, Harvey Edward Harp, and James Lewis Harp.
She is survived by her brother, Noah Davis Harp of Greenbrier, Tenn., as well as several other relatives.

Rebecca Sue Mitchell
Services for Ms. Mitchell will be conducted at Walker and Nedler Funeral Home in Lexington, Mo. Interment will be at Lexington Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Mitchell, 35, of Mt. Juliet, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007.
Ms. Mitchell was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Ann Harrison Liles.
Survivors include her father, David Liles, of Mt. Juliet; and a daughter, Tiffany Ann Blair, also of Mt. Juliet.
Memorial donations may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 425 Cainsville Road, Lebanon, Tenn. 37087.

James Henry Sowell Sr.
Services for Mr. Sowell will be Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 11 a.m., at J.C. Hellum Funeral Home in Lebanon following visitation from 10-11 a.m. Interment will be at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, Tenn.
Mr. Sowell, 75, of Hermitage died suddenly Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at Summit Hospital. Mr. Sowell was born June 5, 1932, to Sam and Cherrie Sowell, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Sowell.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Doris Sowell; a daughter, Sheila (Clarence) Barnes, of Hermitage; sons, James Jr. (Amanda) Sowell, of Mt. Juliet; Sam Sowell of Franklin; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Lila M. Carter and Judy Sowell; brothers, Murray (Doris) Sowell, and William Sowell; aunt, Dorothy Sowell; nine brothers-in-law; nine sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces and nephews.
