Ruby E. Nipper

Services for Mrs. Nipper will be 1 p.m. Monday, Oct 22 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jonas Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Nipper, 84, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007. She was a member of the Church of Christ and retired from Avco.

She was preceded in death by parents, James B. and Mattie Lannom Nipper; husband, Raymond Leroy Nipper; sisters, Margaret Robbins, Eva and Mildred; and brothers, Engles, Charlie and J. B. Edwards. Survivors include: sons, Ronald (Mary) Owens of Franklin, Ky. and Jerry (Jo) Owens of Lebanon; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Carmine Midgett Stroud

Services for Mrs. Stroud will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Mike Stroud and Mike Lish officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until the service Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stroud, 89, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007 at University Medical Center. She was a member of Grace Bible Baptist Church, worked as a dietician in a nursing home, and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by parents, Cletus and Annie Azilee Owens Midgett; husband, Jonas Stroud; and son, Jimmy Stroud. Survivors include: children, Larry (Kelly) and Jerry (Judy) Stroud, both of Lebanon and Sue (Mike) Lish of the Gladdice Community; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bobby and Jim Stroud, Steven, Ashley and Seth Lish, John Hendrick, Clark Cowley, Steve Barnes and Jimmy Washer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Happy Haven Childrens Home, 2311 Wakefield Dr., Cookeville, 38501.

Martha Rachel Williams

Services for Mrs. Williams will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21 at Salem Church of Christ in Norene. Interment will be in Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be noon-3 and 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Partlow Funeral Chapel and 1 p.m. until the services Sunday at the church.

Mrs. Williams, 89, of Lebanon, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2007 at Lebanon Health and Rehab. She was owner of Williams Upholstery, a member f Salem Church of Christ and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by parents, Thomas “Shine” and Mattie Beckwith Kitchens; husband, Alex Williams and sister, Mary Williams. Survivors include: son, Thomas (Peggy) Williams of Norene; daughter, Rachel (Charles) Warren of Lebanon; grandchildren, Donna (Mark) Lowe, Jeff (Gwen) Mayes, Kristy (Keith) Grandstaff and Angie (Keith) Pulley; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Lowe, Alex and Kyle Pulley and Kate Grandstaff; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be family members.
