Alberta Francis Locke Allen
Services for Mrs. Allen will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Shiloh Presbyterian Church with Bros. Billy Smith and Greg John officiating. Interment will be in Allen Family Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at Nave Funeral Home in Erin, Tenn. and 8:30 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the church.
Mrs. Allen, 83, of Erin, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007 at Centennial Medical Center. She was a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, H.B. â€œRedâ€ and Mary Ethel Cox Locke and husband, John â€œBodieâ€ Allen. Survivors include: sons, Russell Allen of Cumberland Furnace , Tenn. and Herbie Allen of Clarksville; daughters, Jane Goodman of Clarksville and Natalie Heflin of Erin; brothers, George Locke of Warren, Mich. and Robert Locke of Lebanon; sisters, Nina Green of Camden, Tenn., Lucille Taylor, Sue Lackey, Emma Fish and Reba Haley, all of Lebanon; six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Allen and Jamie Goff, Neal Lee, Bill Percell, Loni Forrest, Howell Brock and Roger Weatherford.
Charlene Bryant Bailey
Mrs. Bailey, 90, of Lebanon, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2007 at her residence.

Robert N. Henley Sr
Memorial services for Mr. Henley will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11 at Kays-Ponger Funeral Home in Punta Gorda, Fla.
Mr. Henley, 85, of Pt. Charlotte, Fla., died Sunday, Oct 7, 2007. He was born Jan. 13, 1922 to Carl and Lois (Evans) Henley in Lebanon and moved to Florida in 1996 from Greenwood, Ind. He worked as a Superintendant in the construction industry, retiring in 1984. He was a WWII veteran, serving in the US Air Force.
He was preceded in death by parents; brother, Sam Henley; sister, Mabel Owens; and son-in-law, Charles Miller. Survivors include: wife of 59 years, Catherine Henley of Pt Charlotte; son, Robert N. Henley Jr. of Osprey, Fla.; daughter, Deborah Miller of Punta Gorda; granddaughter, Nicole Miller of Punta Gorda; brothers, Zane Henley of Lighthouse Point, Fla. and Gerald Henley of Lebanon; sisters, Mildred Graves, Maureen Sims, Margaret Beadle and Charlotte White, all of Lebanon.
Frances Christine Jones
Services for Mrs. Jones will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. John Brown. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jones, 80, of Donelson, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007.
She was preceded in death by parents, Willie Vernon Hall and Callie Ford; brother, Paul Hall; and sister, Isabell Birchett. Survivors include: husband of 56 years, Wallace Jones; daughters, Janice Jones and Nancy Russell; son, Lloyd (Jamie) Jones; brothers, Troy (Margaret, Darmon (Goergie) and Roy (Frances) Hall; sisters, Eula (Roy) Crain and Ruth (Charles) Green; grandchildren, Noelle and Joshua (Kat) Whittenberg, William (Carrie) and Brandon (Tammy) Russell, Eric, Robert (Cory), and Celina Jones, Rebecca (Roger) Poss, Barry (Rebecca) Waldrum, and Jessica (Travis) Sulfridge; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Rita Goad Phillips
Services for Mrs. Phillips will be 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Christian officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Phillips, 67, of Lebanon, died Monday, Oct. 8 at University Medical Center. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1958, was a homemaker and member of Fairview Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ruben Frank and Vera Beatrice Loyd Goad; brother, James Gwynn Goad; and grandchildren, Johnny Jones Jr. and James Edward Taylor Jr. Survivors include: husband of 49 years, Ralph Phillips; daughters, Rhonda Phillips (James) Taylor of Maryville and Rana Phillips (Charles) Woodmore of Lebanon; brother, Buddy Goad of Lebanon; sister, Beverly (Wendell) Ligon of Lebanon; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Justin Jones, Sgt. Matt and Michael Phillips, Steven Goad, Brandon and Monty Ligon, Cpl. Charles A. Taylor and Tommy Hunt.
Betty Jane Zeigler Sparks
Services for Mrs. Sparks will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 at St. Johnâ€™s Lutheran Church with pastors Stephen Misenheimer and Amy Figg officiating. Interment will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Parrotsville. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the service at the church.
Mrs. Sparks, 87, of Knoxville, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was a retired Registered Nurse. She attended New Cumberland High School and Harrisburg School of Nursing. She joined the Navy Nurse Corps n 1942 and served during the D-Day invasion. She worked as a nurse in Kingsport at Holston Valley Community Hospital and in Knoxville at St. Maryâ€™s Hospital.
She was preceded in death by parents, Hazel M. Groce and Guy W. Zeigler; husband, Rev. Dr. Lemuel Columbus Sparks Jr. Survivors include: children, David (Lynne) Sparks of Hickory, N.C., John (Susan) and Stephen (Mary Ann) Sparks, both of Nashville, and Jane M. Sparks of Kennesaw, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. White, 86, of Lebanon, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007 at University Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by parents, James and Mattie Rutland; husband, James White; sisters, Ozie Stokes and Louise Hellum; and brother, William Rutland. Survivors include: brother, James (Hazel) Rutland; niece and caregiver, Ann (Dr. Lonnie) Haynes; step-son, James Lee Sherrill and family of Oakland, Calif.; godson, Lance Thompson of Knoxville; cousin, Jennie M. Garrett of Indianapolis, Ind.; nieces, Evelyn (Albert) Cason, Jo Anna (late J.C.) Hellum, Joyce (Herbert) Majors, and Johnnie B. White; nephews, Rev.
