Juanita Thompson Bailey

Services for Mrs. Bailey will be 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10 at Claiborne Street Baptist Church in Nashville with the Rev. Robert Finney officiating. Her remains will lie in state from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. with visitation from 6-7 p.m. Monday at the church. Interment will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Benevolent Cemetery in Mt. Juliet.

Mrs. Bailey, 72, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007 at Baptist Hospital.

Survivors include: sons, Kenneth (Tasha) and Desi (Joyce) Thompson, Wendell Fletcher, and Shawn Bailey; daughters, Renee (George) Cook and Regina Bailey; sister, Maxine White; brothers, Herschell (Charlotte) Roberson and Jessie (Rita) McAdoo; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Hellum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Cecil A. Douglas

Services for Mrs. Douglas will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Al Doyle and the Rev. Joe Gill officiating. Interment will be in Belmont Cemetery in Allensville, Ky. at 1 p.m.

Mrs. Douglas, 91, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007 at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Lebanon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Irvin and Amy Elizabeth Basford Webb; her husband, Floyd Chester Douglas; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include: a son, Hunter "Scottie" Scott of California; two sisters, Madeline Newsom of Lebanon and Betty Wildmone of Florida; two nieces; and two nephews.

Pallbearers will be Robert Buttrey, Gil Pearsall, Tony Perry, James Stephens, Van Rodgers, Johnny Carver, Roy Holloway and Steve Gaddes.
