Services for Mr. Byrn will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Alexander Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Dillehay officiating. Interment will be in Sumner Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Byrn, 63, of Hartsville, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008.
He was preceded in death by parents, Walter Leroy and Mary Elizabeth Cage Byrn. Survivors include: wife, Bettie Byrn of Hartsville; son, Patrick Woodard of Hartsville; daughter, Brandy Clariday of Hartsville; brothers, Ashley (Shirley) Byrn of Gallatin, Walter "Tater" Byrn of Bethpage and Charlie (Kim) Byrn of South Carolina; sisters, Martha Moss of Castalian Springs and Ruth (Wayne) Dyer of Bethpage; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Dyer, Bill Boman, Jeff Woodard, Tony and Steve Byrn and Kevin Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Clariday and Kevin Asberry.
Frank C. Hankins
Services for Mr. Hankins will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon with Bros. Brad Brandon and Kenneth Trammell officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. until services Wednesday.
Mr. Hankins, 88, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2008. He was a member of Shop Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Major C. and Anna Davis Hankins; a niece, Nellie Ruth Alexander; and brother-in-law, Percy Jewell Hudspeth.
Survivors include: a sister, Nell Hankins Hudspeth of Shop Springs; and special friends, Shirley and Dot Judkins of Shop Springs, Kimberly Hall Hunter Jenny L. Hall, Allie D. Hunter, Teresa Harris and Lauren and Sarah Grace Harris.
Kenneth Roy Locke
Services for Mr. Locke will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30 at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bro. Sten Criscoe officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Locke, 53, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008 at his residence. He was a member of Community Baptist Church and a self employed electrician.
He was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Dora Murray Locke; sister, Kathy Bennett; and brothers, Buddy and Randy Locke. Survivors include: wife, Patricia Locke of Lebanon; a daughter; and sisters, Joyce Fowler, Brenda (Charles) Kolbe, Patricia Callis, Charlene (Ron) Burgin and Linda Malone, all of Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Community Baptist Church Building Fund.
Evelyn Westbrook Smith
Services for Mrs. Smith will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Craig Avenue Tabernacle A.R.P. Church with Dr. John Hill and Rev. Robert Owens officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith, 78, of Charlotte, N.C., died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008. She was an active member of Craig Ave. Tabernacle A.R.P. Church where she was a Life Member of Circle No. 3 and Friendship Fellowship Sunday School Class. She retired from Belk Department Store in South Park, enjoyed interior decorating and was a talented seamstress.
She was preceded in death by parents, John L. and Mattie Henderson Westbrook; and grandson, Todd Smith. Survivors include: husband of 60 years, W. Miles "Tag" Smith; daughter, Lynn (David) Goomis of Charlotte; son, Tony Smith of Oak Island, N.C.; grandchild, Chris (Lauren) Smith of Lebanon; great-grandchild, Copelin Smith; brother, Jimmy (Betty) Westbrook of Anderson, S.C.; sisters, Ruth Wiles of Abbeville, S.C. and Frances Pruitt of Belton, S.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
