Dave Henry “Big Daddy” Crenshaw

Services for Mr. Crenshaw will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, at St. John Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Denzel Bryant and Pastor John D. Alexander officiating and Dr. Elijah McGee giving the eulogy. Interment will be in 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 19, at Carr Hellum Funeral Home in Hartsville from noon-8 p.m. with Masonic Rite at 7:45 p.m. and Wednesday, June 20, from noon-1 p.m. at St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

Mr. Crenshaw, 80, of Hartsville, died Saturday, June 16, 2007. He was a member of Key United Methodist Church and a member of the Hartsville Masonic Lodge #361.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Rosie Anderson Crenshaw, one son and one brother.

Survivors include: wife of 60 years, Sarah L. Crenshaw; children, Lewis (Betty) Crenshaw, Linda Groves, Michael (Ernestine) Crenshaw, David Crenshaw and Beverly (William) Gregory; 15 grandchildren; one devoted grandchild, Sonya Crenshaw; 30 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lillian Rankins and Martha Burnley; sister-in-law, Afrances (John) Savage; five nieces; seven nephews; devoted friend, John D Young and numerous other grand and great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials donations may be made to Key United building fund in the name of Dave Henry Crendhaw.

Michael David Martin

Services for Mr. Martin will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, at Green Street Church of Christ. Gravesdie services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Martin, 26, of Brentwood, died Friday, June 15, 2007. He was a member of Green Street Church od Christ and was very active in the Homeless Ministry.

Survivors include: Parents, Denny and Carrie Martin; brothers , Jonathan Paul Martin and Benjamin Nathan Martin; sister, Christina Ann Martin and maternal grandmother, Loretta Cerocke.

Moreland Eldridge Nixon

Services for Mr. Nixon will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 18 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville, Ky. with Rev. Robert D. Lawrence and Rev. Dr. Larry Purcell officiating. Internment will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville.

Mr. Nixon, 83, of Hopkinsville, died Friday, June 15 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville. A Christian County, Ky. native, he was a veteran of the Navy, serving in both World War II and the Korean conflict. He had been an insurance agent for Old National Life Insurance (now American General) for more than 23 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Osbey Eldridge and Rosa Bel Cannon Nixon; and a son, David Morelan Nixon. Survivors include: wife Louise of Hopkinsville; sons Larry Douglas Nixon of Murray, Ky. and Russell Alan Nixon of Lebanon; one brother, James William Nixon onf Riverdale, Ga. and four grandchildren.

Elisa Renee Northcutt

Services for Miss Northcutt will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 19 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with the Rev. Russ Stephens officiating. Internment will follow at Leeville Cemetary. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Miss Northcutt, 48, of Lebanon, died Saturday, June 16 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. She was a graduate of Lebanon High School and Volunteer State Community College. She worked in claims at Healthspring Insurance in Nashville. She was a member of the Silver Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her parents Tommy and Janie Dukes Northcutt of Lebanon; daughter Brooke Northcutt of Lebanon; granddaughter Shayla Renee Northcutt of Lebanon; two sisters Teresa (Gary) Thorn of Murfreesboro and Tammy Northcutt of Lebanon; nephew Ryan Thorn; and two nieces Alexia Brooke Northcutt and Amy Edwards.

Active pallbearers will be Mitchell Dukes, Troy Lewellen, Gary Thorn, A.D. Underhill, John Hamilton and Dale Ozier.
