Funeral services for Mrs. Crutcher will be Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 1-7 p.m. and Saturday after 10 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo.
Mrs. Crutcher, age 86, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at University Medical Center.
Born Feb. 12, 1927 in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late John Cleveland and Mary Belle Johnson Bradshaw. She is a 1944 graduate of Lebanon High School and a homemaker. She was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ but had been attending College Hills Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 65 years, J. Ray Crutcher, who died Jan. 5, 2010.
She is survived by her two children, Dr. Johnnie (Ramona) Crutcher, Jamie (Randy) Johnson; four grandchildren, Lisa (Randy) Newman, Dr. Linda Durham, Dr. Sam (Dr. Julie) Crutcher, Holly Jean (Ben) Holton; eight grandchildren, John and Jim Newman, Lindsay and Elizabeth Durham; Madeline and Alexandra Holton, Anna and Andrew Crutcher; and sister, Evelyn Vantrease.
Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews, staff of On-Call Medical and staff of Wilson Bank & Trust at Tennessee Blvd.
Active pallbearers will be Randy, John and Jim Newman, Ben Holton and Dr. Sam Crutcher.
Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
