Billy Clay White

Funeral services for Mr. White will be Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Brother Danny Sellars officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday after 10 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo.

Mr. White, age 65, of Woodbury, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 at his home.

Born Oct. 24, 1948 in Wilson County, he is the son of Frances Baines White, of Lebanon, and the late Willie Clarence White.  He graduated from Lebanon High School and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.  He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served in the Military Police.  He retired from Dekalb Telephone. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother in law, Don Testamand.

He is survived by two children, Dan (Dawn) White of Davis Junction, Ill., Julie (Greg) Haug, of Dekalb, Ill.; mother, Frances Baines White; sister, Annette Testamand; two brothers, Doug (Brenda) White, Bob (Kathy) White, all of Lebanon; grandchildren, Rebecca and Emma Haug; step-granddaughter, Crystal (Tim) Fink Boner; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Zachary and A.J. Fink Boner.

Pallbearers will be Doug White, Douglas White Jr., Randy Leach, Jams Demumbra, Billy Burns and Tim Fink Boner.

Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
