Visitation for Mrs. Arrington will be Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with funeral services Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Brother Joe Widick will officiate.
Mrs. Arrington, age 95, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 at Quality Care Health Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Marie Gibbs Hunter; husband, Garland Arrington; special cousin, Dan Reasonover; and stepmother, Ida Hunter.
She is survived by her twin daughters, Fay (Kai) Grissim, Kay (Ken) Berry; half-brother, Raymond Hunter; half-sister, Mildred Edwards; grandchildren, Gwyn (Jeff) Jennings, Dr. Keith (Cryste) Berry, of Carrollton, Ga., Kristy (Jeff) Bird, of Maryville; great-grandchildren, Allison and Ian Jennings, Melia, Olivia, and Vance Berry and Brooks and Braden Bird.
Mrs. Arrington was employed as an inspector with Robertshaw (Lux Clock) for more than 30 years, a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ and a Walmart door greeter for several years.
Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the elders of Maple Hill Church of Christ. The family wants to express special thanks to the staff of Quality Care Health Center, Dr. Roger McKinney, Sammie Dunkin and Gentiva Hospice.
