Funeral services for Mrs. Ingram will be Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Russ Stephens officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until noon. Entombment will be at the Hermitage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Mrs. Ingram, age 71, of Watertown, died Sunday morning, April 13, 2014 at University Medical Center in Lebanon.
Born in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Orville Fredrick Fields and Willie Jane Singleton Fields and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ray Ingram Sr.
Martha was a homemaker and former dietitian and was a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Robert Ray (Mireya) Ingram Jr., of Murfreesboro, Richard (Lesa) Ingram, of Hermitage, Debbie (Steve) Spencer, of Lebanon, Frieda (Charles) Hooper, of Lebanon, Jeff (Jennifer Wade) Ingram, of Watertown; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Freddie (Pat) Fields, of Franklin, Doug (Sharon) Fields, of Dickson, and William (Geri) Fields, of Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Research Center in memory of Martha Ingram.
