Services for Mr. Dockins will be held Wednesday, April 23 at 1 p.m. in the Joyce Neuble Memorial Chapel of Neuble Monument Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 22 from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to funeral service. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Dockins, 75, was the son of the late Edgar and Willie B. (Reeves) Dockins. He departed this life April 18, 2014 at his residence. Robert was a member of Dickerson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in the Wilson County School System. He worked at W.L. Hailey Inc. for 30 years. He retired from Roy T. Goodwin Contractors.
Survivors include a very dear and loving son, Edgar Phillip Dockins; grandchildren, Phillip, Astashia, Terrance, Anthony and Isaiah; great-grandchildren, Keeley, Ja’yor, Jemeriah, Javon, TaJarria and Lamari; brothers-in-law, Rufus Phillips, John Mathis; sister-in-law, Robbie Mathis; cousins, Mary Hunter, Mary Dockins Cason, Mary Huddleston, Earl, William, Ben, Dallas Jean, Ernestine Dirkson, Mattie Carter, James Smith, Douglas Howell; very devoted cousins, James Reeves, Jennifer Gardner, Ivan Reeves, Brian Reeves; very special friend, Corey Pride; very special caretaker, Sandra Frazier; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
