Visitation for Mr. Stumb was Monday, June 30, 2014 from 9-11 a.m. at West End United Methodist Church, and the memorial service immediate followed.
Mr. Stumb, 28, was born in Knoxville on Feb. 25,1986 and died in Nashville on June 26, 2014.
He is survived by his parents, Sharon Shockley Cape (Charles), Paul Cavert Stumb (Cristy); sister, Maryanne Stumb; step-siblings, Trey and Christopher Geisenhoffer, Sarah and Lauren Cape; grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Paul Stumb III (Dear & Pap), Anne Shockley (Bam); many loving aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends.
He was predeceased his by grandfather, Jack Shockley.
Paul graduated from Holy Innocents Episcopal School in Atlanta, where he made many loyal, devoted friends. He graduated from Auburn University, where he served as president of Sigma Chi, and after graduation, served as a House Corp advisor. Paul received an MBA from Mississippi State University. He was a commercial banker for SunTrust, Bank of America and most recently served as vice president of commercial and corporate banking at Capital Bank. Paul was an Eagle Scout and a committed member of West End United Methodist Church. Active in the community, he served on the board of United Way and was chairman of the board of Bethany Christian Services in Nashville. Paul was honored in 2012 as one of the Nashville Business Journal’s 30 under 30 recipients. He gave and received much love throughout his all-too-short life.
