Mitchell ‘Mike’ Hunt

Funeral services for Mr. Hunt will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at Hillvue Heights Church in Bowling Green, Ky., with visitation from 1-6 p.m. at the church. There will be a second service Friday at 1 p.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel in Lebanon with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services. Entombment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon. The Rev. Dr. Stephen Ayers and close friend Tom Blair will officiate the services.

Mr. Hunt, 73, of Bowling Green, Ky., passed away Monday Aug. 18, 2014 at Greenview Hospital at 4:56 pm.

He was born in Lebanon on Jan. 17, 1941. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Louise Hunt; brother-in-law, Ed Mason; and sister-in-law, Dixie Hunt.

Mike was owner and CEO of Hunt Industries and attended Lake Church at Barren River. Mike had many loves. He loved his work, boating, travel, his thoroughbreds, Titans football, and his WKU Lady Toppers basketball team.

Survivors include his wife, Belle Lady Hunt, of 44 years of marriage; godson, Scott Frisch, of Louisville, Ky.; his special girls, Isabelle and Annslee Graves, of Bowling Green, Ky.; one sister, Nancy Mason; two brothers, Jerry (Eva) Hunt and Thomas "Pee Wee" Hunt, all of Lebanon. He is also survived by two aunts, several cousins and other children who were very special to Mike.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Mike and Belle Lady Hunt Women's Basketball Scholarship Fund, c/o of Western Kentucky University.

Mikey... Hooray Hooray it's the 1st of May..... Outside (bleep) begins today. I keep hearing that in your BOSS voice! I will never forget all the important life decisions you taught me Mikey. You truly were and will be an inspiration to me until we meet again... . I'm praying for your precious wife and all your family. You had such an impact on my life, I will forever think of you and cherish all the wonderful and tough memories you gave me!! Gone but never forgotten. To the Hunt family, im sending lots of love and even more prayers your way! He loved you also very much.... He loved you Miss Belle Hunt.
