Funeral services for Mr. Hunt will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at Hillvue Heights Church in Bowling Green, Ky., with visitation from 1-6 p.m. at the church. There will be a second service Friday at 1 p.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel in Lebanon with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services. Entombment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon. The Rev. Dr. Stephen Ayers and close friend Tom Blair will officiate the services.
Mr. Hunt, 73, of Bowling Green, Ky., passed away Monday Aug. 18, 2014 at Greenview Hospital at 4:56 pm.
He was born in Lebanon on Jan. 17, 1941. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Louise Hunt; brother-in-law, Ed Mason; and sister-in-law, Dixie Hunt.
Mike was owner and CEO of Hunt Industries and attended Lake Church at Barren River. Mike had many loves. He loved his work, boating, travel, his thoroughbreds, Titans football, and his WKU Lady Toppers basketball team.
Survivors include his wife, Belle Lady Hunt, of 44 years of marriage; godson, Scott Frisch, of Louisville, Ky.; his special girls, Isabelle and Annslee Graves, of Bowling Green, Ky.; one sister, Nancy Mason; two brothers, Jerry (Eva) Hunt and Thomas "Pee Wee" Hunt, all of Lebanon. He is also survived by two aunts, several cousins and other children who were very special to Mike.
