Graveside services for Mrs. Gammons will be Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. from the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Wayne Drennan officiating. Visitation is Friday from 2-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9-10:30 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gammons, age 82, of Mt. Juliet, died Aug. 27, 2014.
A native of Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Ingram and Minnie Massey Ingram. A homemaker, she was a 1950 graduate of Lebanon High School and a member of Madison Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Aubrey and Denver Ingram.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bobby G. Gammons; three children, Patricia Diane Gammons (Rick Rowell), Michael (Millie) Gammons, Donald Gammons; two grandchildren, Nicole Gammons, Travis (Lynnsey) Dedmon; great-granddaughter, Camilla Dedmon; two sisters, Jenelle (Wayne) Drennan and Bobbie Farmer.
