Preacher's Corner: Seeking unshakeable faith

Our Heavenly Father has created us to depend on Him for everything in this life, even though there are times of uncertainty.

Our Heavenly Father has created us to depend on Him for everything in this life, even though there are times of uncertainty.

With day-to-day challenges that occur in many areas of our lives, we must remain strong in our faith. We must have unshakable faith. This kind of faith helped Old and New Testament saints of God to make it through their greatest trials and tribulations.

Victories were won, battles were overcome, miraculous healings were manifested, souls were saved, needs of every kind were met, giants were slain, pharaoh’s and evil kings were brought down, all because of their unshakable faith in God.

We must have this same unshakable faith to overcome and win the things we face in our world today, such as sicknesses, diseases, deaths, rapes, foreclosures, bankruptcies, mental illnesses, unemployment, economic hardships and more.

This same God is with us and will never leave us. No matter what happens, we must remember what Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”

An unshakable faith will give you a hope, a desire and a reason to keep trusting in God during this season of your life. Do you have this kind of unshakable faith?

A person with unshakable faith can change some things, but a people with unshakable faith can change many things.

“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sin and I will heal their land,” 1 Chronicles 7:14.

Friends, it’s going to take unshakable faith for this to happen, but with God, all things are possible. There are a lot of divisions in our society, but if we love one another as God wants us to, then one person can put 1,000 to flight, and two can put 10,000 to flight. Greater is He that is within us than he that’s in the world.

If God be for us, who can be against us?  Our belief in God, our trust in God, our love for God, and by all means, staying close to God, develops unshakable faith. Unshakable faith moves mountains.
