Couponing has the power to change your life from want to wealth when you apply good principles.

Couponing has the power to change your life from want to wealth when you apply good principles. Four key factors make a difference in the ability to obtain abundance through couponing in life.

These factors are as follows:

• Restructure your thinking. “As he think in his heart so is he…” Prov. 23:7. Your thoughts are directly linked to your ability. If your thoughts are negative so will the results be. If your thoughts are positive so will your results be. No one who accomplished something ever did it without belief that it could be done.

• Set goals. “Where there is no vision people perish,” Prov. 29:18. Where no goal exists no effort follows. No business was ever started without a plan for future success.

• Figure expenses. “Know well the face of your flocks,” Prov. 27:23. If you don’t know what you have you can never obtain what you want. Examine what exists and where there is need.

• Prepare a budget. “Which of you intending to build a tower does not first sit down and count the cost…” Luke 14:28-29. Putting it on paper is a step of commitment to a procedure that promises prosperity.

These steps are crucial to the success of any endeavor, including that of couponing. As a system is set in motion the steps that follow will be one of achievement. The procedure for success is found in a balanced budget & a wise investor. When this happens the result will always be a house of plenty for “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much…” Luke 16:10.

The steps to this type of abundance is found in 4 actions after this foundation is laid:

During the first eight weeks, spend your normal set amount on groceries buying multiples of sale items using coupons. This will allow for a stockpile to occur.

On week 9, reduce spending to a set amount for weekly needed items (i.e. milk, bread, fruit…) budgeting in an extra $10-$20 to buy highly discounted coupon items to maintain your stockpile.

Weekly buy at least two Sunday papers with coupons, organizing them, matching up weekly deals and making a list before going to the store.

With your spending now reduced, take the amount of excess from what you used to spend and apply it as follows: 50 percent toward savings and emergency fund and 50 percent toward debt reduction.

This will quickly knock out debt. If the savings are $200 a week, you will save $400 a month and be able to pay off $400 of debt a month. It’s time to step out of procrastination, up to purpose and into prosperity.
