To the Editor:

We, the family of Darrell Jenkins, would like to thank everyone for the kind expressions of sympathy that was shown to us during our time of loss.

The overwhelming support of family and friends will not be forgotten. Thank you for all the prayers, phone calls, food brought to us, home visits, words of comfort spoke to us at the funeral home, friends, family, Brother Mike Shelby and Brother Shayne Ray who came to the hospital that morning, and the memorial donations that were gave to Hillcrest Baptist Church in his memory.

Thanks to Wilson County Emergency Management and the EMTs who responded so quickly and to University Medical Center doctors and nurses in the ER that day.  Clark McKinney, David Brooks and the staff at Ligon & Bobo thank you for making a difficult time easier to bear.

Brother Glenn Denton, thank you for all the words of comfort you spoke to us at the funeral. We are so very grateful that you are our pastor and friend.

Thank you Hillcrest Baptist Church staff and members for being there and going above and beyond for our family.  Each act of kindness and support for our family will not be forgotten.

Please continue to pray for our family and may God richly bless each of you.

Newell, Ria, Aaron, Tabitha and Tiffany, Diane and Lorie
