Letter to the Editor: Reader correct, but not on her Bible knowledge

To the Editor:

This letter is to reply to the one written by Mary Perkins to the editor Aug. 22 in the Democrat about Frank Newbell’s view on homosexuality.

She is correct about it being a lifestyle, it is not genetic. Homosexuals choose this lifestyle. But Mary needs to study her Bible more.

She states that homosexuals won’t be in heaven (unless they change their lifestyle). The Bible says in John 3:13 “no man hath ascended up to heaven. But he that came down from heaven, even the son of man which is in heaven.”

We don’t go to heaven. Everyone who has lived and died since time began is still in their grave awaiting their resurrection. God’s true saints will be in the first resurrection. All others will be in the second resurrection.

your ignorance has been noted.
only religious myth believers persecute gays.

She states that homosexuals won't be in heaven

heaven is a religious myth. Like eternity, sin and gods ... it's used to invoke fear.

Everyone who has lived and died since time began is still in their grave awaiting their resurrection.
---
hogwash ... what about those who weren't buried?

God's true saints will be in the first resurrection. All others will be in the second resurrection.

xian myth to ignore.
