Already a number of Wilson County schools have held graduation ceremonies, with several more planned for this weekend.
This is a time of pride and excitement for these graduates, some of whom will return to their hometowns and become leaders of their respective communities. Others will no doubt stand out in communities across the nation and even the world.
In this issue of The Democrat, we salute and celebrate the graduating class of 2014 and wish them well on their respective journeys into the rest of their lives.
Many members of this class will move on to college; some will enter service to our military. Still others will go directly into the workforce.
Whatever path they choose to take, we wish them well in their endeavors and hope for bright futures for them all.
This is certainly a time in their lives for many choices, and it’s our hope they are good, positive ones.
Best of luck, class of 2014. We wish you well. Please take with you our thoughts and prayers for a healthy, happy new beginning in life.
