We at United Way of Wilson County rely on people calling 211, one of United Way’s programs, to assist hundreds of people every month in finding help. Still, people call our office on a regular basis looking for help with questions that, for the most part, stem from poverty.

They are designed to make our lives easier and accomplish more throughout the day, but they also distract us from our family and work.

Beef cattle need minerals to remain productive and healthy. The mineral status of the brood-cow affects reproduction, growth, milk production and health. When cattle are pushed to perform to a higher genetic potential, mineral demands increase. If these de-mands are not met, performance is reduced.

It’s not a secret that Wilson County has some of the best schools in the state of Tennessee, as noted by its peers and parents alike. Within the county, there are two distinct school systems including the Wilson County School system and the Lebanon Special School District.
