The last few weeks, I have brought to light the double couponing disappearance at many Kroger stores around the U.S. Although currently we have not seen this disappearance in the Middle Tennessee area, we need to educate ourselves on the other shopping savings that might replace this policy within our area.

When you think of children today, what do you think of? They are kind, compassionate, selfless individuals who always put others first, obey their parents and wait patiently for the things they do not have? Not many children I know. Maybe they get there eventually… but all children are born with a selfish, sinful nature that demands that they be put first at all times.

This means that elementary and middle schools across the state will either fail to follow the legal reporting standards or will be required to distribute final report cards twice in one month.

Cancer…Wow, never thought I’d hear that word on my 72nd birthday. I heard those words last year, and my life changed. I thought I was doing all the right things, going for checkups, having mammograms, trying to exercise a little each day and staying busy with my family, friends, crafts and spending time between Lebanon and my home in the Smoky Mountains.
