Saints top Webb School; move to 8-5

The Mt. Juliet Christian Saints scored a 44-31 victory over Webb School Saturday.
The first quarter ended with the Saints up by two points, 13-11. Mt. Juliet Christian never trailed in the contest, leading at the half 22-18 and 37-24 at the end of the third quarter.
The victory moved the Saints to 8-5 for the season.
Bryce Middleton and Blake Marsh each tossed in 11 to lead the way for Mt. Juliet. Zach Womble tossed in eight points, Austin Wortmen seven, Daniel Shedd three and Devon Bradshaw and Jonathan Roberts two apiece.
The Saints travel to Gordonsville for a 6 p.m. tipoff Monday.
