(Submitted to The Democrat) Winfree Bryant Middle School student Kaiya Horton won the Wilson County Graphic Contest to design the T-shirts for Saturday’s Think Green, Think Clean event across Wilson County. Horton’s drawing was chosen from submissions from schools across Wilson County. The event will be from 9 a.m. until noon.
The Lebanon Beautification Commission, along with Lebanon, Mt. Juliet and Wilson County stormwater groups will hold the sevent annual “Think Green, Think Clean” Youth Litter Challenge and Recycling Carnival on April 11.

Hofmann noticed a shooting victim in Al’s Foodland parking lot while driving by and used techniques learned in his health and science class to stop the bleeding.
