A black bear was recently sighted in Wilson County, but wildlife officials say there is no reason for concern by the public. Black bears are usually non-aggressive toward humans and the biggest problem is destruction of gardens or other property during their search for food.

Mt. Juliet Police announced the three drug-related arrests on Tuesday, saying the trio attempted to purchase a large amount of marijuana to distribute in the Nashville area. The arrests were made while they each attempted to allegedly make separate purchases of 100 pounds of marijuana at the Just Box It storage facility, 129 Sunset Circle, on Tuesday.
