The Lebanon Gold 7-8-year-old all-stars finished among the top six teams in the state tournament in Maryville earlier this week. The team includes coaches Nick Hays, Paul Jewell, Chris Dickerson and Kevin White and players Cooper Hays, Jordan Jewell, Chase Dickerson, Brycen Cousino, Cyrus Bennett, Carson Fox, Christian Frewwin, Zeb Major, Lincoln McFarland, Mickel Whitley, Danzerio Weir and Remarion Jackson.

MT. JULIET — Investigators are hoping the public can identify a theft suspect who stole a purse out of a Jeep last month while the victim exercised. The theft occurred June 22 around 5 p.m. in the parking lot of Planet Fitness, located at 1321 N. Mt. Juliet Road.
