Alleged sexual predator tops most wanted list
An alleged sexual predator tops the Wilson Sheriff’s Office’s “Most Wanted” list.
The search continues for Stephen E. Beck, 41, who is charged with multiple counts of rape, child rape and sexual exploitation of a minor.
Beck was scheduled to enter a plea in Judge David Durham’s court on July 25, 2011, but he failed to appear.
“I walked into court, and nobody seemed to know where he was,” said Sheriff's Lt. Bob Harrison. “The judge said, ‘Let’s give him a few minutes; maybe he’s running late.’ I went out, and we started looking immediately."
