BREAKING NEWS: Mt. Juliet girls advance to Region 5-AAA final

HENDERSONVILLE — Mt. Juliet's girls returned to the Region 5-AAA finals with a 43-36 semifinal victory over Lebanon on Monday night at Beech.

The Lady Bears improved to 24-8 and will play Wednesday at 7 p.m. against host Beech, a 60-56 victor over Dickson County earlier Monday. Wednesday's winner will be at home for a sectional game Saturday while the loser goes on the road.

Lebanon's season ended at 17-14.

At Watertown, Friendship Christian fell to Jackson County 43-32 to conclude an 18-9 season in Region 4-A semifinal action Monday night.
