Bulldogs beaten by Bears

Cumberland was unable to contain the University of Pikeville’s torrid shooting in an 84-58 defeat Thursday night at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center.

The Bulldogs were led by Brian Blackmon’s 14 points.

The Bears ended the game shooting 58-percent from the field compared to 36-percent for CU. Daniel McFadden was the lone Bulldog to shoot over .500, nailing all five of his shots, including two from beyond the arc, for a dozen points.
