Bulldogs fall in 10 innings at Bryan

DAYTON — Tyler Latham’s grand slam in the eighth inning tied the game and Andrew Smith’s RBI single in the 10th gave the homestanding Lions an 11-10 victory over Cumberland on Wednesday afternoon at Senter Field.

The Bulldogs (8-5-1) scored six runs in the seventh inning to take a 10-6 lead, but Latham’s grand slam tied the game at 10. Latham singled to start the 10th inning and scored the game-winning run on Smith’s one-out single down the right-field line.
