Bulldogs' Miller voted Mid-South Offensive Player of the Week

Cumberland’s Lemeco Miller was voted the Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after registering 208 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns in a 41-23 victory on Saturday at the University of Pikeville.

The Huntsville, Ala., native nearly hit the century mark in both rushing and receiving in the contest. The senior carried 15 times for 116 yards and one touchdown, his fourth 100-yard rushing effort of the year and fifth of his career. He also caught two passes for 92 yards, including an 82-yard catch-and-run in the third quarter.

Miller continues to lead the Mid-South in rushing yards (551) and is tied for the conference lead with nine touchdowns. He ranks seventh nationally in rushing yards and tied for second in touchdowns.

After playing consecutive road games the Bulldogs host Union College this Saturday for Homecoming at Nokes-Lasater Field at 1:30 p.m.
