Chowbay's 19 leads Bears past Bucs

MT. JULIET — Mt. Juliet's boys seized control of Beech in the second quarter of a 53-39 win Tuesday night.

The Golden Bears outscored the Buccaneers 15-5 in the period to turn an 11-9 edge into a 26-14 halftime lead as they moved to 12-10 for the season and 7-4 in District 9-AAA.

Nolan Chowbay tossed in two three-pointers in leading Mt. Juliet with 18 points.
