Encore Theatre to hold Phantom Ball

Wilson County’s community theatre, Encore Theatre Co., has announced plans for its Phantom Ball to celebrate the announcement of its 2013 season.

The Phantom Ball, Encore’s largest single fundraiser, will be Saturday at 7 p.m. at the theatre at 6978 Lebanon Road in Mt. Juliet.

Tickets are $40 each, and a table of eight is $300. Each ticket includes a chance at the reverse drawing, a drink ticket, food and more. Table packages include a deli-fruit tray, eight reverse drawing chances, eight drink tickets, food and more.

Participants are asked to dress in festive costumes for fancy masks. Awards will be given for best original mask, most believable character, most original costume and others.

The reverse drawing will include a chance to win a $1,000 grand prize, and a candlelight wedding ceremony and reception inside the theatre, donated by David Stephens of Kimber Dawn Gardens and valued at $1,600, will be the first prize. Additional tickets will be available for $10 each. 

Cody from Tennessee DJ Express will select music for the evening, and the event will also include heavy hors d’oeuvres, a champagne fountain and cash bar.
