Events continue to fill Christmas season

As Christmas draws nearer, many local holiday events have come and gone, but there are still a few coming up.

In Watertown, the city will play host to its annual Holiday Open House and Tour of Homes on Saturday and Sunday, and the historic square will be in full swing for Santa on the Square on Saturday and Dec. 15 from 4-6 p.m.

Mt. Juliet will be jumping Saturday from 1-5 p.m. for the Holly Jolly Christmas Event at Providence Marketplace. Festivities will include pictures with Santa, story time with Mrs. Claus, carriage rides and more. Also on Saturday, Grand Marshal Darryl Worley will lead the city’s annual Christmas parade, themed “Starry Nights and Christmas Lights.”

Possum Town will round out the weekend with its annual Christmas parade Sunday, beginning at 1 p.m., at Friendship Christian School.
