Charges filed in Halloween stabbing
A Lebanon man is accused in a stabbing Halloween night.
Michael R. Robertson, 49, of 121 Westlynn Drive, was charged with aggravated assault, according to Lebanon police.
Authorities responded to a reported stabbing at Robertson’s home Wednesday at about 8 p.m.
“The victim, Stevie Tomlinson, was found lying in the street in front of the residence with several stab wounds,” said Chief Scott Bowen in a statement released Thursday.
Responding officers arrested Robertson at the scene, Bowen said.
Tomlinson, 42, of 730 Lovers Lane, was transported to Vanderbilt by LifeFlight.
Police believe the two men were arguing before the stabbing, according to Bowen.
Robertson remained Thursday in Wilson County Jail on $10,000 bond.
