Home runs back Petty's one-hitter in Friendship win

WESTMORELAND — On a day when sleet was falling Friendship Christian was hot in a 17-4 victory over Westmoreland on Friday.

Tana Whited and Caity Woodall launched three-run homers over the fence while freshman Courtney Petty pitched a one-hitter with six strikeouts in five innings as the Lady Commanders climbed to 3-6.
