Sid Vicious, the infamous bassist for the Sex Pistols, once described their tunes this way:

“You just pick up a chord, go twang, and you're got music.”

Promising something slightly more complex, the Glenn Martin Quintet will be playing songs from such composers as Jobim, Herbie Hancock, Rodgers & Hart, Duke Ellington, and Miles Davis at the Bull & Whistle this Thursday night at 6:30.

Located in Lebanon's historic Mill, the B&W Pub offers a full menu of very tasty food accompanied by jazz from a bygone era.

Players include Glenn Martin and Roger Bissell, trombones, Hugh Bramhall, drums, Ryan Williams, guitar, Dennis Burnside, piano, and Wayne Renardson, acoustic bass.

No cover, free parking, and dinner for two with wine for $30.

Musicians are invited to sit in. Set list available for the asking via e-mail wayne@renardson.org
