Lady Saints eliminate King's, face Knoxville Webb today

MT. JULIET — Mt. Juliet Christian's girls took the lead in the fourth quarter Thursday night to oust King's Academy 44-38 in the first round of the Division II District 1-A tournament.

King's led 25-23 going into the fourth before Mt. Juliet Christian outscored the Lady Lions 21-13 in the final eight minutes to advance to today's 2:30 p.m. CST semifinal at top-seed Knoxville Webb.'
